Five Minute Friday (and FMF Party) Meet -Up At ALLUME
Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 10:00 PM - Friday, October 26, 2012 at 12:00 AM (EDT)
October 25, 10PM in the (in)Courage Lounge At ALLUME
This is it- a real LIVE Five Minute Friday party and write, with the awesome Lisa-Jo Baker, aka, The Gypsy Mama!
That's right! You stay up late with us every Thursday night to play and share in this awesome community and now you get to do it in(RL)--Woot!
It's true, our cyber parties rock and even trend on twitter, but there's nothing like hanging with your girlfriends in person, sharing some late night coffee, chocolate and community!
So come join us--bring your laptops, iPads, paper and pens and come ready to write for the sheer love of the craft.
There will be Giveaways, chocolate, laughter, chocolate, and a few brave souls will even read their Five Minute Friday write--maybe that will be you? Did I mention there will be chocolate?!
New to Five Minute Friday? Here's the skinny:
1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking.
2. Link back here and invite others to join in. Be brave, share your write with us!
3. And then absolutely, no ifs, ands or buts about it, you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments. Seriously. That is, like, the rule. And the fun. And the heart of this community..
You Will NOT want to miss this--we can not wait to see you and hug your neck!
Do us a favor and RSVP so we can watch for you!
Be sure to leave your twitter handle!!
“Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it.Give up yourself, and you will find your real self. Lose your life and you will save it.” C.S Lewis, Mere Christianity
